Ron McGinnis, AIA, lEED, APVice President / CEO

Ron is a principal owner at McGinnis Chen Associates, providing senior leadership in forensic architecture. Starting his career as an architectural designer in Chicago, Ron later obtained a Masters of Architecture at UC Berkeley. Today, he focuses on initial project analysis and evaluation, conceptualization of rehabilitation approaches, and problem resolution. He also provides expert advice with regard to construction litigation.

Yi-Tso Jeff Chen, AIA, lEED, AP President

Jeff serves as the President and Chief Operating and Technical Officer of MCA. He has special expertise in solving waterproofing problems in the building envelope, including below-grade components, windows, plaza decks, curtain walls, roof reconstruction and skylight assemblies. Jeff’s project experience includes buildings in residential, public works, higher education, and commercial projects, as well as serving as an expert witness in litigation cases.

Jeffrey Martin, PE Principal / Regional Manager of Sacramento Valley

Jeff’s 25 years of experience has covered building envelope design, manufacturing, and installation. A graduate in civil engineering from University of the Pacific, Jeff is experienced in conducting full-scale and component testing of curtain walls and composite panel systems. Combined with previous experience as an engineer for an architectural roof/wall manufacturer, Jeff’s diverse background has given him in-depth knowledge and practical experience for assessing building envelope failures and performance.
